When we released our renewed vision statement to “empower people & organizations to do good”, we may have been viewed as bold; for us however, we were simply delivering the promise of our vision every hour of every day. Whether through the world’s first click-to-donate “Free Donations” platform for the region, enabling millions of people from all walks of life to donate without cash or credit card or even registration.

I have always been fascinated by the creative process: diving deep into your imagination, forging new ideas, and bringing your own vision to the world. This is why I realized very early on during my college years that I wanted to be an entrepreneur and carve my own path. I not only have a visceral need to create but also always look for meaning in what I am doing; I can’t help but be passionate. Starting Folks & Tales fulfills my creative needs and helps me find purpose, but it has an additional impact I wasn’t expecting: shedding a new light on my own cultural identity.

We fund a variety of different social needs for the homeless. We choose each project solution based on water availability, culture, and economic conditions. When you sponsor a project, we’ll pair your donation with a solution of an appropriate cost.
